Human resource development for rural tourism: a green tourism approach

This study aimed to analyze the current human resource (HR) condition in more established tourist villages Bali, Indonesia, as well developing a development model that could assist HR for tourism. The research is qualitative using 2 sample groups Community-based Tourism (CBT) management 5 developed CBT and Academics who conducted community services villages. results show resources available are various stages depend on phase maturity of village. 7 training modes suggested be carried out standalone or combined methods required by some parties. For maximum result, these parties should work synergy contribute rural green requirement revolves around understanding practicing ‘green’ daily life at workplace profession aiming achieving ultimate goal making Earth safe living place many generations come.
